X-Zone Sensor from Optex

Optex's X-Zone sensor is a combination sensor ideal for any sliding door application. It excels in both safety and performance.

The X-Zone uses the exclusive "Blue Zone" technology, which detects presence in the threshold. With Blue Zone, the door will stay open for as long as someone is in the detection area even if they stop moving. When the detection area is cleared, the door will close safely.

The sensor also uses Optex's innovative "I.N.C. Logic" (Intelligent Noise Cancelling). This feature can reliably tell the difference between people near the door and "noise" such as rain, snow, vibration, insects, or ambient light sources.

Another great feature of the X-Zone is the selectable detection function. With this, your customer can save money on power consumption because the door will ignore traffic moving away and close more quickly. Buildings that are heated or air-conditioned can regulate their airflow and control their temperature with less energy expenditure.
